Displaying albums/pictures on the fly while scanning for new photos

I've been playing with it, and I realised that you can close DigiKam in the
middle of the initial scan. If you start it again, all the scanned items (so
far) will appear in the albums and the scan will continue where it was left.
It's not perfect, but it's something.
