[digiKam-users] Crashing on exit: round 2

DK 5.9.0 appimage on Manjaro

Last week, DK got stuck on exit. Same thing today. I added captions
and tags to 4 images (no video)

When exiting, it said: synchronizing. Applying pending changes to
metadata. 2 CPUs 100% for 3.5 hrs and no disk IO (neither reads, nor
writes).
