Crash on face tagging 5.8.0

Hello
Did anyone else notice crashes on adding a face region in appimage 5.8.0 ?
Mine crashed yesterday a couple of times. Konsole showed nothing even with debug option. Digikam completely freezes. Only solution to close the window- Ctrl C in terminal. I even thought something is wrong with my hardware but opening 5.7.0 installed from suse repos solved the issue.
