Problems with icons in album display

Once this happened I did indeed test several different appimage versions 
rather than the openSUSE RPM and none of them corrected the issue.

What puzzled me was that in the digikamrc in the General Settings the 
Icon theme= was blank as was in Icons section Icon theme= and setting 
both these to oxygen causes the effect that I want.
