Hello Peter,
Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
Your method A is exactly what I do for people tagging (followed by face
tagging in my case).
I am not sure I seen the button "tags already assigned" though. Maybe I
just have not notice it or maybe it is gone from digiKam 5.
The Method B looks like an amazing keyboard only way of tagging pictures. I
will definitely give it a shot when I am back in front of my laptop. Again,
thanks a ton for sharing!
