Not seeing tags in 5.5

I did steps 1-3 with the exception of only copying one folder of images as
I've got thousands. Step 4: I think most of the tags were there - there
were a couple suspect images but don't know if they were ones that weren't
tagged originally. I had some permission issues on the images so many
weren't loaded in the new profile but the ones that did seemed mostly to
work.

So not really sure what you meant in #4 but I moved my old DB away and let
DK build a new one with the images. I didn't see the tag error though it
may have been there in the scrolling of the console, because it looks like
I only got back about half my tags- give or take. In the Metadata settings
I had "write to metadata" set.

Not much rhyme or reason - one DNG raw file can have tags and date created
in IPTC tab (right side) and the next image is blank there and no tag. Same
with jpegs and cr2 files.

thx, Jim
