export to remote storage not shown in menu (digikam appimage 5.6.0)-- workaround ??

Still using digiKam 5.5.0, I also will be heavily impacted by a lack of
"export to remote storage".

I need this feature to export selected photos to:
- USB stick for printing
- export to a home server
- burning CD/DVD


Is there a workaround?
