Digikam 5.4.0 won't start on Windows

And now, you confirm that, since you clean all settings files from DK <
5.0, the application never hang at startup randomly ?
This is a serious possibility. I already seen some serious dysfunction when
old settings files was used. This is due certainly due to the legacy
settings scheme used by digiKam throught the from KDE4 frameworks and by
some incompatibility beteen Qt4 and Qt5 data serialization used to store
settings (windows splitter size for ex)...
