So I guess it isn't just me doing something wrong.

Such a minor annoyance is not enough to make me install a newer version;
however, it does bring the question --- how big of an episode is it to
update to a more recent version ?

Does the new version just overwrite the old ?

Is there such a thing as having two versions operable at the same time ?
