HTML gallery export

Hi

New user to DigiKam, I would appreciate some assistance with modifying the
content of the classic Gallery template.

What I would like to do is use the classic template, but include my own
additional html content in the header and footer, like a logo, some text
and Google tracking IDs.

I tried placing my html in the body section of the template, but it is
overwritten and lost each time I export using the template.  Is there a
more correct way of doing this?  I can't find anything in the online
manual...
