help needed: netmount & duplicates

Thanks for your advice - but this is not my problem. I do my backups
with my NAS now (Raid on NAS + external copy).

I am looking for an way to clean up my album tree without loosing any
pictures.  I know the search for duplicates. But the view of the found
duplicates is confusing to me. Some of the duplicates are different
tagged or developed. Merging would be a solution - but is it possible?
