[Digikam-users] miss option scan for new images

Hi, 

in latest digikam version in ubuntu (eg. 16.04) I missed the option to
untick 

"scan for new images at startup" 

in miscelaneous section. To speed up start of digikam I like to disable
that scan. Is there a way to set this in digikamrc or another config
file?
