[Digikam-users] Regarding OS for digiKam

For Kubuntu 16.04 you need to add the repository of phillip5
https://launchpad.net/~philip5/+archive/ubuntu/extra

And then install digikam5.

That works quite fine for me with my image database from digikam 4.

I run Digikam in xubuntu.  When you install it lots of kde libraries
are pulled in, but it works fine.
