[Digikam-users] Digikam under Opensuse misses geotagging/maps & hoping for suggestion of an easy way to set albumdates

I have exactly the same problem on Sabayon. Geolocation was fine under
digi 4.x, in digi 5.0 there's nothing. Literally.
No icon on sidebar and more importantly no entry for geolocation
anywhere in menus or right-click on image. Correction: filtering whether
images are geotagged or not does work, but that really is the only place
where I can find anything regarding geotagging and it's not very useful
on its own, really.

I didn't have marble installed, but installing marble and re-installing
digikam didn't change a thing. If missing or having a "wrongly" compiled
marble is causing that, it would be nice if it were included in the
dependencies (I guess I have to go for the packagers for that?) or at
least something like an error message came up.

On the plus side, digikam 5 is running much faster on my machine then
digi 4 did the last few months or so... :-)
