[Digikam-users] digikam slow when opening an album

I'm also getting now a lot of:

for each image, and each image is now processed at a speed of 10 secs
(size of image is around 5 MB).
So far I'm stuck: after 3+ hours I'm still at 2% of the process,
meaning it will going on for days before it ends. I'm recovering the
old thumbnail database (that could be corrupt) and try to rebuild some
parts of it.
Any suggestion is welcome.
