Volodya,
Hi How are you?

I can give some tips based on digiKam 4.9.0 because 4.10.0 is not scanning my collections for some reason.
Although it is a Ubuntu server, my clients are Windows so things may be a little different for you.
My Linux server has a Samba shared named "library", so I add \\<ip>\library\Photos in the "Collection on Network Shares".
The given share is already mounted as a Windows driver letter, so I don't have to care about user and password in digiKam. I am not sure if it is that simple in Linix client.
IF you are trying digiKam 4.10.0, I would downgrade to 4.9.0 in order to make the setup given my own experience with 4.10.0 for Windows.
Regards,
