[Digikam-users] Error when Digikam starts

I'm running Ubuntu-MATE 1504 and have just installed Digikam. but when I start it I get this error:

 


"Failed to create tables in database.
 database is locked Unable to commit transaction"
My Pictures folder is a mounted NAS drive, mounted via fstab.
Any idea what could be causing this? My guess is the fact it's mount network drive.
