[Digikam-users] no thumbnails shown in albums (digikam 4.2.0 compiled from src)

Hello,

problem solved ;-). Because I changed Digikam installation prefix to
/usr/local, digikam kio-slave protocol files (digikamalbums.protocol and
digikamdates.protocol) were installed under /usr/local/share/kde4/services.
By default, KDE4 (on Ubuntu) is not looking to config files under
/usr/local so digikam protocols were unknown to klauncher. I set KDEDIRS
env variable to include /usr/local and after restarting KDE, my compiled
Digikam is working fine :-)
