Hello,

This post is partly HS because it do not concern digikam, but I don't
see where I can find a larger Linux photo group.

The photo printer Canon Selphy CP 910 is not (yet) supported by linux,
because (Gutenprint dixit) Cnon changed the way the printer discusses
with the computer, so even using the previous drivers is not possible.
This is only partially true, but is not my subject.

One can use the printer because it prints directly from sd card (or usb
device, I guess), so no computer is really necessary.

But, some time, the jpeg image is not read at all. The card is readable,
but not all images.

it's usually enough to read it (for example with showfoto), make any
minimum change to be able to save it again et then it works. But it's
unfriendly.

I can't find any specification on the Canon web site about any jpg
format. I'm sure it's not being too big or too small, because I could
print smaller and bigger images than the one with problem.

I can't share ther image (family), but here are the mediainfo
indications (below)

any idea?

thanks
jdd
