[Digikam-users] Digikam 4.0 won't run on Linux Mint 17.1: vanishes after album scan

Hi Mick

Thanks: it seems that this must be possible. My version is Mint Rebecca 
(17.1) - which should be the same, and I think my PPAs are the same too, 
but I don't seem able to force Mint to install the newest version. It's 
late here now, so I'll check everything properly tomorrow.
