[Digikam-users] Renaming files takes ages - Database issues?

I have a problem while renaming pictures, it literally takes 5 minutes
to rename 100 pictures. I'm pretty sure it has to do with database
issues, but I cannot find out why the problem exists, other database
operations (like maintenance of fingerprints) work absolutely fine.
This is what the terminal is giving out when trying to rename (This is
examplary output for 1 picture, it repeats this for every picture in the
renaming queue. Ignore the "XXXXXXXXX" folder, I removed the original
folder name here due to privacy reasons.)

Anyone has an idea how to fix this, or if you need additional info I can
post it (but will probably need an explanation of how to retrieve it).
I am using Debian Sid, digiKam 4.1.0 under KDE 4.13.3, just in case this
is of any concern.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
