[Digikam-users] Digikam 3.1.0, Unbuntu 13.04 - Not displaying thumbnails

Hi.  I have just loaded Digikam 3.1.0 on my host running ubuntu 13.04.

I am hoping some can help me with this thumbnail issue.

After configuring Digikam to point to my library of photos, I am finding 
that no thumbnails are displayed when thumbnail view is selected, or in 
the thumbnail bar.  I have a mix in types of files including NEF, ARW, 
JPG.  None are displayed, however the images are displayed in preview 
mode but not as a thumbnail.

I have reviewed the docs and have found references regarding thumbnails, 
however nothing pointing to specific configuration parameters for 
displaying thumbnails.
