[Digikam-users] How to update photo collections?

Thanks Volker,  I tried that but it didn't change anything, I already 
had it checked.
I've also gone to Tools - Scan for New Images.  Selecting that opens a 
pop up box, it looks like it quickly goes to 39% then stops and closes.

Any ideas why it might not be completing the scan?
