Exporting to Evolution from the file manager page (using the latest version from ppa) I find that images are exceptionally dark. In the case of my B/W images they were totally unusable. I needed to open the file and do a batch re-size/convert to jpg, drop it onto the Desktop and then do a conventional attach; which is a pain! David
