[Digikam-users] How to work with AVCHD videos?

Does anyone have any suggestions for dealing with AVCHD videos (from a 
Lumix DMC-TZ20 and maybe others) in Digikam?

They appear as PRIVATE/AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM/nnnnn.MTS files which can be 
played with VLC and suchlike - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD
