[Digikam-users] Use digitaglinktree with mysql

I use digikam with a mysql Database (for easy access from network). I would
like to create a tagstructure in filesystem, like digitaglinktree does. But
it seems that this tool only works with sqlite databases. Is there a similar
tool or a plugin for digikam or is it somehow possible to use
digitaglinktree with mysql?
