[Digikam-users] DK becoming unstable

I have been doing a major update of my filing system. For each
sub-folder I have been:
a.) Adding any needed new tags
b.) Bulk renaming the images to prepend the date
c.) Updating the metadata along with an xmp if needed.

After about 3 or 4 folders have been processed all of the current folder
thumbnails start to erratically flash and I need to shut the system
down. When I restart DK everything is back to normal.

I reported earlier that never does complete with the file rename but
that appears to not impare my opening an processing another folder.

Has anybody seen anything similar?
