[Digikam-users] Any thoughts on RAM needs?

I am on Linux Ubuntu and only with 1GB (netbook) and painfully slow. I
think 2 or 4GB are definately the way to go if possible. Don't know if
there is other way to "optimize" things. I hope there is.
