[Digikam-users] Some images aren't displaying in thumbnail view

I'm running digikam 2.1.1 with a mysql backend.

I have noticed that some images are not displaying in thumbnail view.
I have verified that the images are on the file-system in the expected
folder. 10 of the 45 pictures in this folder do not display. In fact
even if I search for the image by name (I have unique filenames across
the entire collection) no images are displayed in the results.

I've poked around in the DB a little and I see that my image is found
in the Images table, in fact its found 4 times, 3 of the 4 have NULL
for the album. Im not sure what that indicates but the last entry does
have an album number.

Ive tried a few different ways to get the image visible again like
renaming the file or re importing without success. Not really sure
where to go from here, im concerned that there may be other images
that exist in my library but im unable to find with digikam.

Does anyone know how I can fix this, and what if any db maintance
operations should I be performing on the DB?
