I've tired of waiting for Debian unstable (sid) to upgrade digikam. It's still using 1.2.0. So I want to build 1.8.0 from the tarball, but I can't find any good instructions. I tried using those on digikam.org, but they are somewhat sparse. Can anyone point me to a good set of instructions? Dan
