Check if you have a nautilus process running, if so:
killall -9 nautilus
DK should detect your files on your camera now.

if this doesn't work, check if you have a process running that is called
gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor, if so:

killall gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor
