[Digikam-users] Digikam with Linux

For some time I have been fervently preaching the wonders of Digikam to
photographers as a means of garnering their interest in 'putting a toe'
into the waters of Linux.

Converts we will not get when the path is strewn with 'makes' and
'configures'. 

I find it simply sad that a current and stable Digikam version is not
readily available in the repositories.
