[Digikam-users] Reading tags from XMP sidecar files

I wrote metadata to xmp, deleted the metadata from picture and imported
from xmp with very little metadata showing up under xmp tab. Exiv,
makernote and IPTC remains empty. To get it done I had to select one
photo and by hand to point to the xmp file. I can not find a way to do
it by batch for all pictures. So it might be needed to use an other
photomangement program to get the metadata back in the photo. But
according to my experience is almost all data lost.
