[Digikam-users] Save changes not available right after Raw import in Digikam 2.0

Hi there,

In Digikam 2.0, after opening a RAW image in the editor and clicking
import, the "Save changes" button is disabled. I have to apply a tool
(any tool) to enable the "Save changes" button. But, in many cases I'm
very happy with the image right after the RAW conversion and I want to
save it immediately.

If I disable versioning, then I fall back to the "old" Digikam 1.x
behavior: i.e. the "Save as" button is enabled right after RAW
conversion and I can save my file without further editing.

I have found a bug report for this
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=276061). I'm writing here
because I'm just surprised that there aren't any discussion about
this. I find this behavior quite annoying. I'm wondering if I'm the
only one. Maybe you are using another workflow or you always edit
further your RAW images after conversion ? I'd hope to see some
discussion around this.

Hervé
