[Digikam-users] Ghost Images

1.2.0 Ubuntu 10.04

I have 10 items sitting on my system that do not really exist and I cannot
delete.

They show up as jpg images with just a 'generic' balloon image.

how can I purge these items from the data base ... I have tried to rebuild
the thumbnails and all refresh options.
