[Digikam-users] Moving digiKam (KDE on windows) to another drive - where have the thumbnails gone?

I've learned not to trust this program, so I checked them all and worked around it. I did a search for all files with tags, and wrote the data for just them.

I had assumed that bug was just in the betas, which I was running then. Is it in the final 1.0.0 too?

I've since enabled immediate writing of metadata.

I wouldn't rely on that (yet):
http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/digikam-users/2010-January/009359.html
(In that message there are some more details on the bug '"Write
Metadata to images" only modifies the first 201 files in any directory
(tools menu entry)' https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=220202)
