[Digikam-users] mplayer error with DigiKam on Windows

If you work out how to compile it, please post instructions here. In the meantime, if you install KDE 4.3 instead, that particular problem goes away.

Hi, the lastest release of digiKam under Windows is a unfortunately a 
beta version... and many bugs were fixed in the final release.

You may try to compile a new version yourself with this : 
http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/402 and a little help from the 
mailing list... but maybe somebody on the mailist already did it and 
could give you access to the binaries

The error at startup is a KDE for Windows error and not directly related 
to digiKam if I remember correctly... so you may also wait for a final 
release of KDE for Windows 4.4 (in february I think).
