[Digikam-users] Digikam translation - Leaf Tag

Hi,

Sorry if this is not the right venue for this kind of a 
question:

What is a "Leaf tag" ?

Example:
#: picasawebwidget.cpp:169
msgid "Leaf tags only"
msgstr ""

It's in the kipiplugins-picasawebexport, so it may be used 
in digiKam (I'm not subscribed to the KIPI mailinglist).

Is there a difference between a "Leaf tag" and a tag-field?
Can someone explain?
