Ok, I just finish to try this PPA repository, but with Lucid.
I keep my album, and photos are rightly displayed.
The only matter for me, is kipi-plugin basically can't be update due to a
missing dependencies.
In fact, libcv1, libcvaux1 and libhighgui1 are missing from Lucid
repository, there are libcv4, libcvaux4 and libhighgui4... I don't known
why, but I download the Deb package from launchpad and installed them
manually and it's works fine.
For, Karmic, do you have use kubuntu backports repository mentionned in
dependencies of the PPA kde44 one ?
