[Digikam-users] How to upgrade?

Thanks for the advice so far so good...I installed digicam 0.10.0 and it
work great and my camera is now in the list of supported cameras but should
I now uninstall the old version? They seem to list a good deal of common
items in the dependency lists - does Yast check if removing something in
the dependency list of application X will break application Y?
