[Digikam-users] RAW importing enables automatic brightness and does not stick to digikam's settings

Hello everybody!
I just want to check whether I am really the only one experiencing this issue
with current svn of digikam and kipi-plugins or if it is reproducible for
others as well.
If you set-up the raw import settings in digikam (its main settings) and set
quality to AHD, disable automatic brightness and enable noise reduction (not
changing the numeric value), these settings are ignored by several parts of
digikam.
To test this use a photo taken during the night, i.e. a dark one with some
lights on it.
If you have set digikam to automatically import raw pictures when you open
them in the editor, then opening that picture in the editor should work fine.
Putting the same picture into the batch queue manager and using "convert to
png", which also imports automatically from RAW, creates a much brighter image
although "automatic brightness" is disabled.
If you have told digikam to not import RAWs automatically but show the raw
import utility in the editor on the right-hand side first, you can check
whether that utility sticks to the digikam settings, i.e. quality set to AHD,
automatic brightness disabled and noise reduction enabled. For me, noise
reduction is never enabled and quality is always set to "bilinear". BQM
produces the same result as in the other scenario.
I tried this with a clean config, i.e. removed digikamrc and started all over
again. Can anyone reproduce this? If so, please add your comments to
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215657
I even tried to remove the kipirc file, but it seems digikam does not need/use
it, since it is not re-created when I start digikam again.
Regards
Sven
