[Digikam-users] Importing from a Card

Since DK in ver. 10 is not directly supporting import from my camera (Canon
50D) I have been using the Import feature from the camera card. (Import >
USB Storage Devices > Transcend Card)

Yes, DK appears to see my card as a USB which is strange but the real
problem is that transfer time is really terrible. Pulling in 2.5 GB of
Raw+JPG files took well over one hour .... much much more than if I simply
did a system file move.
