[Digikam-users] DigiKam 0.9.3 && sporadic "Failed to download file xxx"

Hello,

For my wife and her laptop (FreeBSD 7.0-REL, KDE-3.5.8) I've acquired a
new cam Canon PowerShot A1000 IS. Normally with my cams I'm using
Gphoto2 (2.4.1) and the cam works fine with this. For her convenience
I've installed (compiled) from the FreeBSD ports collection digikam 0.9.3. It
auto-detects the above cam as 'USB PTP Class Camera' and works mostly
fine. Mostly means, that sometimes on 'Download all' it stops at certain
file (randomly) with 'Failed to download file XXX. Do you want to
continue?' Continue works and if you restart the full download in the
same session, it then works (mostly) or (sometimes) stops at some other file.

A 'gphoto2 -P -R' can download all files without problems, never it
stops.

What can I do to nail this down? Are there some log file to
enable to see why it can't download certain file?

TIA

	matthias
