It's not specificly to manage Photographer list, but I import my photo
from memory card to harddisk with exiftool which already add some info
about my identy. I want to say it, may be, will be great that Digikam
don't overwrite a tag (author, copyrights, etc...) if this one already
exist, except if it's expressively asked.

Yes, as I want. When you check a tag and apply it in Digikam, there's IPTC
Keywords and XMP Subject added. But if I uncheck a tag, the XMP subject
entry persist.

is there the XMP :

And now the IPTC :

You can see the "Mer" subject in XMP is not in IPTC keywords (that's
normal for IPTC as long I uncheck the "Mer" tag in right panel caption/tag

Thanks, but I think i have libKexiv2 from trunk (installed with
KDEsvn-build script), should I update the KDE/Graphics element ?

Is there the info about component (from digikam info panel):

I see something about writing timestamp as Tag, but nothing about set
"modication date" file attribute when metadata edit.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your answer.
