I haven't noticed it with my nef files yet. It's sporadic but in one folder with 60 images I have about 8 incorrect thumbnails. The thumbnails showed are for another image in that folder but the same thumbnail shows for several other images.

Ideally I'd like to be able to regenerate the thumbnail for a specific image, or at least by folder, rather than doing it for my whole collection. My collection is thousands of images and based on running regeneration for a few minutes, I'm guessing this would take hours even on my quad core, and it seems totally unnecessary since it's currently only a couple folders where I have this problem.

A trick to regenerate the thumbnail of a single picture is to rotate it 90 clockwise and then anticlockwise, as it is a lossless operation it will not harm your picture.
Anyway I think I have encountered also this bug sometimes when I save as a picture it gets the wrong thumbnail...
