[Digikam-users] Metadata not written to file (correct option set)

Hi,

I'm running digikam 1.0.0b3 and trying to make best us of metadata 
templates.
The problem I'm facing is that metadata are not written to the file, 
whether the option to write metadata is selected or not.
Is this normal behavior or a known bug ? I did not find anything similar 
in the mailing list.
