[Digikam-users] Different size of PNG files

I found that the size of a PNG file generated from the same RAW file is *very* 
different when

a) the image editor is used -> 50+ MB
b) Tools -> RAW Image Converter is used -> about 12 MB

although compression rate is 9 in Setup -> Saving Images as well as in the 
Save As... dialog of the image editor. My setup under openSuSE 11.0 is
