[Digikam-users] working with multiple databases

Hi, I wonder if it is possible to move canon raw files that have been
tagged from one digikam database to a different one. This is especially
important for me because I use a laptop that has a small disk and only
stores the most recent images I am working with and a quite large
external drive to store my archive. 

The problem now is, how can i move images from the laptop to the archive
without losing all the tagging information?
