[Digikam-users] Suggestion/request for renaming files

Hi Mark,

in the rename dialog, such an option exists - just switch on 'add original file 
name' (or similar, I use the german translation). This will rename your 
pictures according to

img_0188.jpg -> img_0188_01.jpg
img_0189.jpg -> img_0188_02.jpg
...

if you write nothing on the prefix line. Names like

img_0188.jpg -> web--img_0188_01.jpg
img_0189.jpg -> web--img_0188_02.jpg
...

result if you put "web--" in the prefix line.


What seems to be a bug, however, is that the renaming dialog by default 
chooses the ordering opposite to the one chosen in the digikam window.
