[Digikam-users] Bugs or not ?

Dear all,

Few words to say hello. I'm new on the list, but not with Digikam which 
I use since 0.6 and each version is full of good surprises. Thanx to 
Santa Claus and specially the little dwarves of the Digikam Team ;) for 
the 0.9

 From 0.8 to 0.9, i've noticed two problems, but I can't say yet if it 
is a bug (and a report will follow) or a config problem.

Config : Ubuntu 6.10 i386 / KDE 3.5.5 on Athlon64/2800+/2Go

1) some albums can take much time to show pic, not only the first time, 
and it not depend on the size/number of pic (partially in fact). But, 
for example, a 500 pic album take 2/3 seconds and a 80 pic album up to 
11 seconds !!! Pics are 2/3 Mpix in all cases.

2) during a move/copy of pics, if pics exist, the thumbnails dont 
appear. There is an hyperlink which say that the pic is not on the local 
machine (but it is, of course...)

Have you any idea ?
